Axel Cushing has been playing games for a long time. Like, a really long time. He can tell you about the original Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? and The Halley Project on the Apple IIe, or the text based adventures on an early PC clone, or any one of a number of computer game memories stretching back over the last three decades or so.
After a long stretch as a correspondent, reviewer, and op-ed agitator for The Armchair Empire, he's been working on some of his own side projects (slowly) and trying to translate his voluminous knowledge of gaming, literature, mythology, and psychology into a career in the games industry. He is currently starving somewhere in the Phoenix metropolitan area in Arizona.
